FICUS AMERICANA, 10 SEEDS
Ficus americana, commonly known as West Indian laurel fig or Jamaican cherry fig, is a tree in the Moraceae family that is native to the Caribbean, northern Mexico, and has spread through Central and South America to southern Brazil. It is an introduced species in Florida, USA. The species is variable; the five recognized subspecies have previously been placed in a large number of other species.
Ficus americana is a shrub or tree growing up to 30 m tall.
GERMINATION INSTRUCTIONS
Fill a container with the peat mixture.
Sow the seeds on the surface of the mixture. Do not cover, the seeds need light to germinate. Always keep the soil moist.
Place the container outdoors in full sun or partial shade if temperatures are above 24/25 degrees. If temperatures are too low, keep the container indoors under artificial lights.
Keep the soil moist, do not let it dry out. Germination occurs between 15 and 90 days.
Transplant the seedlings into individual pots when the leaves are well developed.
