Characteristics: Premium Variety: The Musona is a round onion with a medium-sized bulb, pale skin, and firm, crispy white flesh. Delicate and Versatile Flavor: It offers a balanced flavor, slightly spicy but never overpowering, which lends itself to countless culinary preparations. Excellent both raw and cooked. Highly Productive: Renowned for its high yield, this variety ensures a bountiful harvest with minimal effort, amply repaying the dedicated care. High Germinability: Botanis.it seeds are selected to guarantee a high germination success rate, for a worry-free start to growing. Non-GMO: Grow with the certainty of natural, non-genetically modified products, for a healthy and sustainable garden. Cultivation: The Musona Round Onion is a real pleasure to grow, thanks to its hardiness and adaptability. It adapts to various soil types, preferring loose, fertile, and well-drained ones. Sowing: You can sow Musona onions directly into the ground from February to May for a summer harvest, or from August to September for a spring harvest the following year. Keep a distance of about 10-15 cm between plants and 25-30 cm between rows. The seeds should be planted about 1-2 cm deep. Exposure and Watering: Prefers full sun exposure. Watering should be regular, especially during dry periods and during bulb growth, but avoid waterlogging. Care: Keep the area free of weeds with light hoeing. Onions do not require excessive fertilization, especially in the final growth stage. Harvesting: Harvesting generally takes place from June to September, when the leaves begin to yellow and dry, curling to the ground. Let the bulbs dry in the sun for a few days before storing them in a cool, dry place.
