Lemon Drop is a rare chili pepper variety in Italy, originally from Peru, and stands out from all other chili peppers for its lemon aftertaste, a note that makes it unmistakable and sought-after. It has a degree of spiciness that can reach up to 50,000 on the Scoville scale.

The plant grows very tall, well over 1 meter, and the yield is very high; in ideal conditions, the plant can even produce 2-3 harvests per season.

The fruits are 4-5 cm long and when fully ripe are an intense yellow colour. In the kitchen they are excellent accompaniments to white meat and fish, as well as first courses.

For good germination maintain a constant temperature of 28 - 30 degrees.
